The shares of utility NextEra Energy (NEE), formerly called FPL Group and first discussed here at a price of $43.30 on March 3, 2009, have reasserted themselves in the past three months, rising to test $55 again.Further, while there's concern about a medium-term double-top at/near $56, the view from here argues the uptrend is stronger, and should prevail.
Fundamentally, look for NextEra's earnings to increase about 6-8% in 2011, after a roughly 10% gain in 2010.
