Let me be frank: I was disappointed this week by the market reaction to news of Microsoft Corporation's (MSFT) decision to increase its dividend. I mean, come on, this is what shareholders have been waiting for. If you go to the chart and set it to the one-month frame, you'll see how the announcement did absolutely nothing for the price action.
Should it have? Well, I'm biased. I own shares of the tech giant, and as I recently stated, I don't have a paper-profit attached to my position. So, as you can imagine, I'm a bit miffed.
