A recent trio of home sales from the entertainment industry ranks:
Actress Ashley Olsen (yes, the infant actress from the sitcom "Full House" is now 23) has sold her Hancock Park home for $1,399,000. The 1926 Spanish-style house has wood-beam ceilings, arched doorways, a period tile staircase, three bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,322 square feet. Public records show she bought the property in 2007 for $1,757,000. (Ouch!)
Actress Deborah Pratt, who wrote, starred in and co-produced the TV series "Quantum Leap," sold her Holmby Hills-area home for $2.9 million. The main house, built in 1936, and separate guesthouse have six bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in 4,555 square feet. Pratt purchased the home in 1996 for $1.27 million, according to public records.
"Shrek" movies producer David Lipman sold his Hollywood Hills home for $1.9 million. He bought the neglected midcentury house in 2000 for $678,000 and completely overhauled. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home, with fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom, has 1,875 square feet of living space.
