Fresh concerns over the health of the financial system is dragging European bank stocks lower, and with them the broader European indices.
London, Germany, and France are all off over 1.3% notes WSJ.
Among the concerns: huge writedowns at Spanish bank BBVA.
Meanwhile, US futures are heading lower as well.
