The head of Russia's state-run natural gas monopoly said Tuesday a preliminary deal had been reached to supply energy-hungry China. Gazprom's chief executive said the deal with China National Petroleum Corp. calls for the supply of 70 billion cubic meters of gas a year. A price had not been set.
